Launching Girlhood: The Story
Girlhood: The Story was launched via our kickstarter campaign on 8th March 2020 to celebrate International Women’s Day.
The crowd funding campaign was a great success, beating the initial target and raising over £10,000!
The team were delighted to hit their goal, despite the disruptions from COVID 19 and although it meant an initial extension of the campaign.
It was a lot harder than we expected it to be, but it was worth it! Getting these books out into the world to the young girls that need them was our top priority. We are thankful to everyone that supported us be it sharing, donating or buying a book.

The team were also happy to be able to donate proceeds from the book to their chosen charity “Bloody Good Period”.

We think it’s vital that everyone should be able to talk about periods, and have access to the information they need and deserve in order to understand their bodies and what happens every month.”
